Employment Opportunities at CORA ServicesCORA Services, Inc. is a non-profit educational and social service agency which provides counseling and educational services to children and families throughout the Philadelphia region.The following is a brief description of CORA Services divisions, employment opportunities, and the minimum requirements. Nonpublic School Services: Educators, Counselors, Speech Therapists and School Psychologists. This program provides school-centered services to children attending non-public schools, K to 12. All of these positions require Pennsylvania School Certification. Early Years Program: Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Special Instructors. Provides nursery school and day care services to families with children between the ages of 2 ½ to 6 years of age. Bachelor level degrees are required for teacher positions. Assistant Teachers should have a minimum high school diploma and experience working with small children. For Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Special Instructors, a Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification or professional licensing is required. Community Services: Counselors, Case Managers, and Psychologists. Provides family-focused intervention and treatment services for individuals and families. Areas of concentration include mental health and substance use treatment for at risk youth and families experiencing emotional / behavioral / situational difficulties related to family functioning, school attendance, substance use and adolescent pregnancy issues. Master level degrees in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology required for therapist positions; PA licensure required for some positions. Bachelor level (minimum) required for Case Management positions. Out of School Services: Site Directors, Program Coordinators and Part Time Group Leaders provide academic and enrichment activities for school aged children and their families during non-school hours.
